At Intergamma, responsible and sustainable business practices are one of our core values. Our ambition is to become the most sustainable DIY (Do-It-Yourself) retailer in the Benelux. We aim to ensure that our business activities have no negative impact on human rights and the environment throughout the entire value chain.

Due Diligence Statement

Our due diligence statement provides transparency regarding our efforts to meet legal requirements and pursue supply chain responsibility. The document outlines the processes and measures we implement to manage risks related to human rights, working conditions, environmental impact, and corruption, in cooperation with our direct suppliers and partners.

Code of Conduct

To realize our ambition, Intergamma has established a Code of Conduct. This Code of Conduct is based on our sustainability strategy, the United Nations Global Compact, the International Labour Organization (ILO), the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, and other relevant national and international laws and regulations. The Code addresses the topics of Human Rights, Environment, Security, and Governance. The outlined requirements and guidelines are based on the values of transparency, protection of vulnerable people, continuous improvement, and collaboration. We expect our direct suppliers and partners to accept and commit to this Code of Conduct. Only together can we achieve our ambitions and create a more sustainable value chain.

Whistleblowers

Intergamma encourages everyone to openly report misconduct or ethical violations, regardless of whether they relate to our Code of Conduct, laws, regulations, or other policies. We expect our employees, suppliers, and partners to ensure that no adverse consequences are allowed for those who honestly report potential violations. Whistleblowers, human rights defenders, and other third parties will not be obstructed or intimidated in any way.

The compliance officer handles all reports of misconduct and assesses whether they fall under the whistleblower policy and whether an investigation should be launched. This investigation may be conducted by Intergamma itself or by an external agency. All reports are treated confidentially, and the whistleblower is protected against retaliation. We act in accordance with the Dutch Whistleblowers Protection Act and any other applicable laws and regulations.

Reports can be made through Intergamma's own channels (customer service, contact forms, etc.), or by using the contact form below. In addition, reports related to our sourcing suppliers can also be submitted through the available BSCI channels.

Reporting

Intergamma reports annually on its sustainability efforts and progress in the sustainability report.
